Aurionpro has secured a ₹50 crore order from MMRDA to deploy its Automated Fare Collection solution across six additional stations on Mumbai Metro Line 5.
Mumbai-based Aurionpro Solutions has secured an additional order worth approximately ₹50 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to expand the deployment of its Automated Fare Collection (AFC) solution on Mumbai Metro Line 5.
The latest contract extends Aurionpro's existing AFC deployment for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A, awarded last year, by adding six stations under Phase I of Mumbai Metro Line 5. The company will provide an end-to-end AFC system designed to support ticketing, fare collection, and passenger movement across the network.
MMRDA is expanding the Mumbai Metro network to improve connectivity across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The additional deployment builds on Aurionpro's ongoing work in the city's metro infrastructure and increases its presence in India's urban transit projects.
