As part of its Black Friday in July sale, Best Buy has reduced the price of two Acer laptops aimed at very different audiences. The Acer Aspire Go 15 has fallen from $1,189.99 to $749.99, while the newer Aspire Spin 14 2-in-1 is down from $799.99 to $699.99. Although, after the discounts, there's only a $50 difference in price between the two models, each laptop offers a distinct set of strengths.
The Aspire Go 15 focuses on performance, combining a 10-core Intel Core i7-13620H processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD, making it the stronger choice for demanding workloads and multitasking.
The Aspire Spin 14, meanwhile, trades some raw power for greater versatility, pairing a newer Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor with a brighter 14-inch 1920 x 1200 touchscreen, a 360-degree convertible design, a backlit keyboard, and a lighter chassis.
