Aramco Digital teams up with OrbitronAI to build AI for heavy industry
Aramco Digital, the tech arm of Saudi oil giant Aramco, has teamed up with start-up OrbitronAI to build and sell AI tools for heavy industry, the two firms said.
The tools are aimed at oil and gas, power, mining, transport, and factory firms. They are meant to help them find money lost to slow decisions, scattered data, and heavy paperwork in big projects, supplier deals, and daily work.
The deal was signed in September at the LEAP 2026 tech show in Riyadh, Middle East AI News reported. Neither firm gave financial terms.
OrbitronAI makes software that uses AI agents to read company files, connect to business systems, and perform tasks. Key sums and sign-offs stay with people, the firms said.
