Agentforce and Slackbot dominate Salesforce Q1 successes, as CEO Benioff forecasts Coworker impact to come
A mixed bag at Salesforce as it turned in strong Q1 ’27 numbers with Agentforce, Data 360 and Slack businesses soaring, but forward-looking guidance held back by more sluggish performance around Marketing, Commerce and Tableau. The firm also anticipates license revenue volatility stemming from the addition of Informatica on-prem revenue to the mix.
Total revenue came in at $11.1 billion, up 13% year-on-year, including $444 million Informatica contribution. Net income was $2.11 billion, up 52% year-on-year. Other stats of note from the earnings release:
- Subscription and support revenue from Agentforce apps, including sales, service, marketing, commerce and Slack, totaled $6.91 billion, up almost 9% from a year ago.
- Agentforce Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) is now running at $1.2 billion, up 205% year-on-year and the first time in its short life that it’s topped the billion dollar mark.
