After 20 hours with Lies of P: Complete Edition, this Switch 2 version of the incredible soulslike is my new favorite way to play
By bundling the base game with the phenomenal Overture expansion, Lies of P: Complete Edition is the ideal way of playing this tremendous soulslike for the first time. There are some caveats, but performance on Switch 2 is largely solid, with multiple graphics settings available to choose from.
Pros
- +Includes Overture and all cosmetic DLC
- +Robust graphics settings
- +Perfectly playable in both docked and handheld modes
- +It's still the best soulslike game out there
Cons
- -Quality-centered graphics modes need work
- -Some noticeable object pop-in
- -You have to change graphics modes from the title screen
- -No option to disable motion blur
