Absurd GPU Pricing Update: Mid-2026 Edition

Eight months into the memory crisis, just how bad have graphics card prices become? That is what we are exploring today. We all know PC components are getting more expensive, gaming hardware manufacturers continue to raise prices, and the recently released Steam Machine arrived with a terrible price tag.

But what has the impact been on the graphics card market? Have prices stagnated, gotten worse, or, by some miracle, actually improved?

We are once again examining graphics card pricing data from 10 countries, giving us a more complete picture of GPU prices worldwide rather than isolating the analysis to a single market. We have data from November 2025, when GPU prices were at their lowest, figures from our previous update in April, and updated pricing for July 2026.
