Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu has officially launched Arattai for Business, an enterprise-grade messaging platform designed to help organizations engage customers and manage internal workflows. The rollout comes directly in response to Meta’s recent price hikes on the WhatsApp Business Platform, offering Indian businesses a cost-effective alternative for automated messaging and customer support.

Designed with seamless business integration in mind, Arattai for Business connects directly into the broader Zoho ecosystem—including CRM, desk management, and custom APIs—allowing companies to build custom conversational flows without relying on third-party aggregators.

To support critical public services, Zoho announced that Arattai for Business will be completely free for government departments and public infrastructure providers like Indian Railways.
