Ziroh Labs launches Kompact AI to run enterprise AI on CPUs
As enterprise AI moves beyond large models into thousands of operational workflows, the infrastructure question is also beginning to change. Not every AI workload has the same compute requirement, particularly when organizations are running smaller models across document processing, software testing, customer interactions, cybersecurity and other high-volume applications. Ziroh Labs is betting that a significant part of this emerging inference layer can run on existing CPU infrastructure.
The Bengaluru-based AI and deeptech startup has launched Kompact AI, a CPU-first AI platform designed for enterprise workloads where transaction volumes, I/O patterns, latency and deployment scale can matter as much as raw computing power.
Rather than positioning CPUs as a universal substitute for GPUs, the platform addresses workloads that can be handled efficiently without relying exclusively on specialized accelerator infrastructure.
