Zaperon Raises ₹7 Crore To Tackle AI Agent Access Risks

Cybersecurity startup Zaperon has raised ₹7 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). Zaperon plans to use the capital to strengthen its product, develop enterprise-grade AI security frameworks and expand its presence in India and the US.

But the larger issue behind the funding is the security challenge emerging as AI agents enter enterprise workflows. As these agents interact with applications and sensitive corporate information, enterprises need tighter control over what both human and non-human identities can access, how that access is governed, and what data they are permitted to use.

Why AI Agent Access Is Becoming A Security Concern

The issue becomes particularly important in regulated industries, where access to sensitive information is closely tied to security and compliance. Zaperon currently works with enterprises across BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and government.
