YouTube Expands Shopping Affiliate Program with Amazon Product Tagging
YouTube has expanded its Shopping Affiliate Program by bringing Amazon products into its platform, allowing eligible creators in the United States to tag products directly in their content.
The new integration enables creators to feature Amazon products in Shorts, long-form videos and livestreams, creating a more seamless connection between product recommendations and online shopping. Viewers can discover featured products through shopping tags, while creators can earn commissions from eligible purchases.
Eligible creators can select products using YouTube Studio’s product picker. The platform also offers an automatic product-tagging feature, which can identify eligible Amazon products appearing in recent uploads when enabled by the creator. If a particular product is unavailable, creators may seek assistance through YouTube’s Creator Support.
