Yeah, RAM Is Expensive...But You Can Get Apple's New Polishing Cloth for $9
Apple has released a new iteration of its weirdly successful Polishing Cloth from 2021. The accessory costs $9 in the US, down from $19 for the original model, which quickly became the brand's most backordered product.
The Polishing Cloth's new price point brings it somewhat closer to other premium microfiber cloths. This year's model is MLH74AM/A, replacing the old MW693AM/A. Apple hasn't mentioned any changes to size, thickness, material, or packaging, so we're unsure whether anything besides the price and model number has changed.
Apple says the cloth uses soft, nonabrasive material that cleans any Apple display. It's "compatible" with any Apple display, though it's unclear what would make a cloth incompatible with other devices when it's explicitly safe for both glass and nanotexture screens.
