Wrike Collaborate 2026 – AI raises the stakes for Wrike's Work Intelligence Graph
Wrike CEO Tom Scott kicked off the company’s annual customer event with a statement about the nature of transformation in an increasingly AI-fueled world:
Transformation is no longer an event you plan for. It is the environment you operate in every day.
And in that kind of fluid environment, Scott argued, there simply isn't the time or money to keep managing change through disconnected spreadsheets, presentations and documents — a mess of competing facts and narratives that creates administrative friction, dysfunctional processes, and strategic misalignment. All of which, he argues, hinder organizations’ ability to change by obscuring the necessary work in what he called the “fog of business”.
And while this has clearly been a challenge since the dawn of time, Scott’s message was that dropping AI into this environment was a sure-fire way to accelerate and amplify the chaos — making this perennial problem significantly more urgent to solve.
