Wonderful bets on India’s enterprise AI shift, opens Mumbai operations to help scale AI beyond pilots

India’s enterprise AI market is entering a new phase. After months of experimentation and proof-of-concept projects, organisations are increasingly focused on deploying AI at scale and embedding it into core business operations. Recognising this shift, enterprise AI company Wonderful has announced its entry into the Indian market, establishing operations in Mumbai and appointing Bhavik Rathod as Managing Director for India.

The expansion is part of the company’s broader global growth strategy and reflects its view of India as a long-term market for enterprise AI adoption. Wonderful currently operates across more than 35 markets worldwide and recently secured US$150 million in Series B funding, taking its total funding to US$300 million.

While Indian enterprises have accelerated investments in AI, many continue to face a common challenge: moving beyond isolated pilot projects to enterprise-wide deployment.
