Wizz Financial launches a cross-border wallet connecting UPI with remittances
Wizz Financial has launched the Wizz Financial App, a digital platform that brings remittances, foreign exchange, payments and other financial services together, with connectivity to India’s UPI ecosystem for residents, non-residents and eligible international customers.
The app was unveiled at the Global Fintech Festival 2026 and combines Wizz Financial’s digital capabilities with its India network, which serves more than 5 million customers through over 360 branches across 22 states.
Customers can use the platform for inward and outward remittances, foreign exchange, multi-currency prepaid cards, lending solutions, UPI transfers to India, bill payments and mobile recharges. The app also includes travel and visa-related services.
A key component is SWITCH, Wizz Financial’s proprietary interoperability infrastructure. It is designed to connect the company’s applications across the US, UAE and India with participating third-party wallets and financial platforms.
