Apple unveiled its next chapter of Apple Intelligence at WWDC26 and a long-awaited new Siri AI. The polite digital companion that the Cupertino-based company promised to the masses two years ago is finally getting a real brain transplant. According to Apple, Siri AI can search across messages, emails, and photos, pull personal context from within apps, peek at whatever's on the screen, and reach out to the open web for fresh info when it needs to. A dedicated Siri app keeps past conversations tidy and syncs them across devices through iCloud.
Sounds great. Whether anyone gets to use it comes down to the silicon sitting inside their hardware, however.
