Why the stories we tell could become the unexpected shortcut to managing enterprise agents
One thing that never fails to surprise me in my research for diginomica is how often an apparently straightforward conversation suddenly flips into something so much weirder and more interesting that it tears a little hole in my worldview.
As a case in point, I was introduced to Matt Palmer, Automation and Integration Manager for carbon accounting vendor Persefoni, at the World of Workato event in Las Vegas last week — basically for him to big them up and explain how he was using its platform to deploy agents in his business.
All very normal and worthy — and it started exactly as you would expect.
Palmer told me a little about Persefoni and his role. He explained some of the challenges of operating as a 'one-man band' without a team. And he talked me through some of the internal agents he’s built to help people in his organization.
