Why Practice When You Can Build a Motorized Badminton Racket?

Common wisdom says that if you want to improve your skills in a particular area, you need to practice, practice, practice. But Jack Saito is an engineer, so he decided to lean on technology to solve his shortcomings instead. The problem is that, while Saito loves badminton, he can never beat his friend, which is starting to take the fun out of the game. So, to finally beat his friend, he built an unbeatable badminton-playing robot.

Well, sort of. Rather than building a complete replacement for himself, the former NASA engineer decided it would be much easier to replace just one part of the equation — the racket. His solution was a motorized badminton racket capable of spinning at high speed to automatically smash any shuttle that came within range.
