When Flock Comes to Town: How These AI Cameras Work and What to Do About Them

From major cities like Los Angeles canceling its Flock contract to towns wrapping Flock AI cams in plastic bags because Flock won’t take them down, this surveillance tech company has been in the news across the US. Darth Vader has weighed in, cops continue to be fired for misusing Flock cameras, and people are getting so anxious about devices spying on them that I wrote a guide on how to accurately spot Flock cameras.

As these cameras continue to appear in streets, parking lots and neighborhoods, accompanied by their familiar solar panels, you may be wondering what exactly they can do and if they do have privacy risks.
