August is upon us, and that means a new batch of Lego has arrived, ready for us to dive into. This month's drop is an especially good one, with icons from the silver screen and real world.

Let's start with the former: everyone's favorite extra-terrestrial is now available to buy in brick form. The Lego ET comes with a fully posable phone-home finger (complete with light-up tip), a plant pot, and a glowing heart brick. He is slightly less wrinkly than the big-screen version, but no less heart-stealing.

On the real-world icon front, we now have an updated kit for London's Tower Bridge. This new version can raise and lower, and features details including a tiny red double-decker bus, an unrealistically ultramarine Thames, and a tiny coat of arms that's an homage to the original set.
