The Problem We Wanted to Solve
For a long time, one of the biggest problems in STEM education hasn't been access to information. There is more information available to students today than at almost any other point in history. Textbooks, lecture videos, simulations, online courses, forums, search engines, calculators, educational websites, and now increasingly capable AI systems are all just a few clicks away.
The problem is that having access to information isn't the same thing as understanding it. A student can find the definition of acceleration in seconds. That doesn't mean they understand why acceleration is a vector. They can find an explanation of quantum mechanics without understanding it well enough to explain it themselves. They can search for the solution to a calculus...
