We Rated the Weird Tech at IFA 2026 to Find the Wackiest Products
Thousands of products crowded the halls of IFA 2026, one of the world’s largest consumer technology shows. Most promised to make our lives easier, healthier or more connected. A few appeared to receive a slightly different assignment — make something so strange that even a room full of jaded tech reporters would stop and stare.
After nearly a week on the show floor, we found tofu machines, pet phones, toothbrush cameras, AI companions and a rugged laptop that wants to be left in the sun. Some were surprisingly clever. Others raised questions nobody had previously thought to ask.
These are the weirdest products we spotted at IFA 2026, along with our entirely scientific assessment of whether they’re too weird to work.
