Want to Ditch Google Search? Try These 5 Other Search Engines Now

Google announced in May at its Google I/O developers conference that it was working to combine Google Search with its advanced AI tools. That means interacting with Google Search in the future might resemble using an AI chatbot instead of an index of blue links. But if you don’t like the direction Google Search is heading, there are other search engines you can try for free.

There are plenty of alternative search engines that offer advantages over Google, such as greater privacy. But the main drawback to some of these engines is that they may lack comprehensive results. That means you might have to look through more results on other search engines than on Google. I found it helpful to be more specific with my search queries when using these other engines.
