VIT Bhopal University Welcomes 2026-27 Undergraduate Cohort with Industry-Led Orientation, Setting the Stage for an AI-First Engineering Journey
VIT Bhopal University welcomed its 2026-27 undergraduate cohort through a comprehensive Freshers’ Orientation Programme, reflecting VIT Bhopal University’s vision of preparing graduates for industries being transformed by AI and digital technologies. Students and parents were introduced to the University’s academic philosophy, research-driven learning ecosystem, interdisciplinary curriculum, global collaborations, innovation culture, industry engagement, and the support systems designed to help students thrive academically and personally.
The event was inaugurated under the leadership of Chancellor, VIT Bhopal University, Dr. G. Viswanathan, and supported by Vice President Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Assistant Vice President Ms. Kadhambari S. Viswanathan; Trustee Mrs. Ramani Balasundaram. Alongside the University leadership, Mr. Amit Chaudhry, Director, Microsoft CSS, joined as the Chief Guest, while IIT Kharagpur alumnus and distinguished spiritual thinker Swami Vigyanananda Ji, joined as the Guest of Honour. Ms. Priyanka Giri from the 2023 batch joined as a distinguished alumna.
