Video Found in MacOS Shows Apple’s Rumored Camera-Equipped AirPods in Action
An uncovered video has supercharged rumors about Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods. MacRumors reported this week that it found a video in the MacOS 26.7 release candidate that shows the AirPods in action.
“With Visual Intelligence, your world becomes savable,” Siri says in the video as a man holds up a book. “See something you like? Just ask me to save it for later.”
MacRumors also reports that these AirPods will warn you if they are covered by your hair, for example.
“To get the most accurate information about things in your environment, make sure AirPods are not covered,” it says.
Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman reported on Aug. 2 that Apple could release the rumored camera-equipped AirPods later this year. That’s earlier than previous reports of a 2027 launch.
