UPES, HPE Launch AI-Driven Centre Of Excellence For Networking And Cybersecurity
UPES and HPE have launched an AI-driven Centre of Excellence to train students in AI networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise technologies.
UPES has partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to launch the HPE Networking AI-Driven Centre of Excellence (CoE) at its Dehradun campus, expanding industry-academia collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI), networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
The Centre of Excellence is designed to integrate enterprise technologies into academic learning through hands-on training, project-based learning, faculty development, industry bootcamps, and certification programs. The initiative aims to equip students with practical skills aligned with the evolving demands of enterprise IT and AI-driven infrastructure.
According to a NASSCOM and Deloitte report cited by the organizations, India is expected to require more than 1.25 million AI professionals by 2027, with a projected shortage of over 600,000 skilled workers. The new center is intended to help address this growing talent gap.
