Unlimited Siri AI Access Will Require You to Pay Up

Apple has published official documentation revealing its usage limits for Apple Intelligence online features. Server-side AI features will be limited starting with the next major software releases, iOS 27 and macOS 27.

Limited functionalities include Siri AI, intelligent editing tools in the Photos app, Image Playground, AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts, and third-party apps using Apple Foundation Models.

Limits vary by feature, request complexity, system demand, and other factors, similar to Gemini Notebook's new usage budgets. Once a user reaches their limit, that feature becomes unavailable until the limit resets.

Apple has not published exact usage limits; these could easily vary depending on the app or feature. Expanded access is expected to be available through iCloud+ subscription tiers, though Apple hasn't shared any pricing information just yet.
