UiPath maps the missing layer for enterprise AI with Cartographer

Cassie Kozyrkov, former Chief Decision Scientist at Google and now CEO of Kozyr, opened the UiPath FUSION 2026 with this exercise - showing the audience a picture of a lion and asking them to classify it. The room split, not just because 9am in Las Vegas isn't the most interactive time of day, but because without a clear definition the question has no right answer. All this to say, AI systems produce unpredictable results without clear purpose and boundaries. Wrapping up, Kozyrkov gave a philosophical analogy to emphasize that because Large Language Models (LLMs) are probabilistic, they come with an invisible 'maybe' appended to each instruction and you'd better wrap them in safety nets, because:
