Truecaller Joins GSMA To Advance Global Mobile Security And Caller Identity
Truecaller has joined the GSMA as an Industry Member, marking a step towards expanding its role in shaping global standards for mobile security, caller identity, and fraud prevention.
The membership will enable the Stockholm-headquartered company to collaborate with mobile operators, regulators, and technology companies through GSMA working groups focused on mobile security, spam prevention, and caller identity.
Focus On Mobile Security And Call Authentication
Truecaller said it will contribute insights from its platform, which serves more than 500 million active users globally, to support the development of stronger standards for call authentication and consumer protection.
According to the company, its platform identified 68 billion spam and fraud calls in 2025, providing large-scale data that can help inform industry efforts to combat unwanted communications.
