‘Toy Story 5’ Gets Disney Plus Streaming Date
Seven years after Toy Story 4 took viewers on a road trip with little Bonnie and her franchise-favorite toys, Toy Story 5 arrived in theaters this past June. The smash-hit animated Pixar film is due to hit Disney Plus in September, and ahead of its streaming release, a video from the movie’s soundtrack, Taylor Swift’s I Knew It, I Knew You, has arrived on the platform.
This time around, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Rex and the rest of the gang find themselves competing with technologyin the form of Lilypad, Bonnie’s new tablet. The device has a mind of its own, and one of the movie’s themes is tech versus imagination, and loneliness versus trying to fit in with a crowd.
