Tokenomics - the Samsara worldview as customers navigate a multi-phase adoption journey

As the debate around tokenomics rages, largely framed from the buyer side in negative way as ‘eat all you can eat’ becomes uneconomic when presented with the monthly bill, there are more positive interpretations. Sanjit Biswas, CEO and co-founder of Samsara, argues:

AI is becoming more powerful and more transformative every single year. If we look at these trend lines, if we look at the graphs, you can look on the cost side, where if you think about a certain level of intelligence, the AI models have gone from being models that cost $60 per million tokens down to just $3.30. That's incredible. It's an 18x cost improvement in a span of about 1,000 days. Very few technologies adapt that quickly.

And that’s been matched by functional improvements on a grand scale, he goes on:
