Both the blue and purple Connections categories today rely on you spotting related words hidden inside of other words. This is perhaps my least favorite kind of Connections group, and it’s even tougher when a puzzle has two categories like this. Read on for hints and today’s Connections answers.

Here are four hints for the groupings in today’s Connections puzzle, ranked from the easiest yellow group to the tough (and sometimes bizarre) purple group.

Yellow group hint: So tired.

Green group hint: A part of something.

Blue group hint: Check the end of the word, think measurement.

Purple group hint: Check the end of the word, think spying.
