This Person Built a Quad-Sensor Camera Specifically to Capture Wigglegrams

Wigglegrams are animated images created by quickly alternating between two (or more) photos, shot roughly eye-width apart. The more formal name, “wiggle stereoscopy,” sheds some light on the purpose: the alternation produces a sense of depth, like a stereoscopic image does, but without requiring that each eye see a different image. Wigglegrams are kind of trendy right now, so Redditor Low-Junket9298 built their own quad-sensor camera specifically to capture them.

This seems to have been inspired by unique cameras from the past, like the Nimslo and Nishika N8000. Both of those were 35mm film cameras, but with four lenses intended for 3D effects. With those cameras, each shutter release would open up all four lenses simultaneously and expose images onto two film frames (two half-size images per frame).
