This Little DIY Power Station Can Run a Desktop PC

If you want portable power these days, there is no shortage of power banks and power stations to choose from. A power bank is small enough to carry around, but it generally won’t run anything much larger than a laptop. Power stations can handle bigger loads, but they are usually bulky boxes that you probably don’t want to lug around everywhere you go. Wouldn’t it be nice to have the best of both worlds?

YouTuber Gadget Industry decided to build exactly that. His homemade power station is small enough to hold in one hand, yet it can provide more than 500W of total output. It has a 300W AC inverter for powering devices like desktop computers, along with 140W and 65W USB-C ports for fast-charging phones, laptops, and other gadgets.
