TL;DR: Rockstar premiered a 26-minute Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay showcase on Netflix, then opened the floodgates on preview coverage from outlets flown to Rockstar North last month. The game is enormous: a map that's three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's, an 80-hour playthrough, more than 600,000 NPC animations, and gameplay design that aims to shift away from consequence-free sandbox chaos. After three years of trailers and delays, Rockstar finally showed Grand Theft Auto VI actually being played. The unusual 26-minute "Extended Look" premiered on Netflix hours before it lands on YouTube.
