You can go surprisingly far in the world of hobby electronics with just a basic multimeter and a soldering iron. But as you progress, you’ll likely begin to accumulate more and more equipment. Then, one day, you’ll look down and find that half your workbench is filled with instruments. Sergei solved that problem by cramming so many of those into one compact device called DOGS2.
DOGS2 is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, so it won’t take up much space. But it includes a whole suite of tools and instruments, like:
- a dual-channel programmable power supply
- A logic probe
- A frequency counter
- A signal generator
- Sniffers for several digital interfaces (UART, RS485, CAN, I2C, and more)
It isn’t missing much, other than maybe an oscilloscope (no device is perfect).
