This E Ink Typewriter Has Some Very Fun Extra Features
I am of the opinion that function is form, because good engineering solutions and practical design are beautiful. But even I can appreciate some extra flair, so I agree with Jamie of Myth Made when she says that aesthetics matter. Jamie wants to spend more time writing and knew that the task would be more pleasant on a device with the right aesthetics. But nothing on the market suited her tastes and budget, so she created her own E Ink typewriter with some very fun extra features.
Jamie saw many of the builds coming from members of the writerDeck community and wanted to put her own spin on the concept. Specifically, she wanted something reminiscent of a typewriter, but with the practical digital utility of a writerDeck and some unique features.
