This DIY Robot Will Haul Your Beach Gear For You
Between all the pictures, keychains, and shirts you find with sayings like “life’s a beach,” you might get the idea that a day at the beach is nothing but playing, napping, and sipping drinks from coconuts. But as anyone who has ever actually been to the beach knows, that’s hardly all there is to it. You’ve also got to lug around a ton of gear through soft sand that makes every step feel like a leg day at the gym.
John Boss lives near Lake Michigan, so he understands this very well. Rather than live with this problem, he decided to do something about it. He built a robot to haul all his gear around for him. Now the cooler, umbrella, towels, snacks, and everything else just follow him wherever he goes.
