This 3D-Printable Lamp Is Way Prettier Than It Should Be
Accent lamps are a great way for makers to express themselves. They don’t even need to provide functional light — they just need to look neat. LightCore3D understands that well and has designed many very cool lamps. Now they’ve released their best design yet: this 3D-printable “Cyber Loop” lamp that is way prettier than it has any right to be.
The overall shape of the lamp is like a cross between a car’s wheel and a “you are here” icon turned on its side. LED lighting effects dramatically enhance that shape. There are several different areas of the lamp with their own distinct lighting, isolated from the other areas. The result is a multi-color feast for the eyes. That’s especially true with animated effects, which really bring everything to life.
