The Godox C100 viewfinder camera and light meter looks like something out of Star Trek — but in reality it misses the mark
I was excited about the Godox C100 — I think we all were, thanks to its Star Trek-style looks. But the practical experience of using the transparent screen/viewfinder for photography just doesn't really work, and it's hard to frame images with any accuracy. Combine this with unexceptional image quality and no real creative control for the user, and it's a camera that's hard to get excited about. At least the light meter part works!
Pros
- +Uniquely stylish design
- +Light meter functionality works well
- +Image quality could be worse
Cons
- -Video is poor and janky
- -No settings control or image filters
- -Transparent viewfinder is hard to use
