I didn’t go looking for a new collaboration platform. I already had the usual stack - docs for writing, boards for tasks, whiteboards for brainstorming, and group chats for everything else.

What I didn’t have was a reliable way to get multiple people aligned on the shape of an idea while it was still forming.

I found SchemaDive while looking for mind mapping tools that support real-time co-editing. It caught my attention partly because it’s a Canadian app (Toronto-based), but mostly because the collaboration feature was simple and specific: multiple people can edit the same map at the same time - creating nodes, changing nodes, and restructuring the map live.
