Thales brings agentic AI to military command with HexaForce
As modern military operations generate growing volumes of data from sensors, communications systems, cyber environments and other sources, artificial intelligence is beginning to move beyond individual defence applications into the command layer itself.
Thales has launched HexaForce, a next-generation command-and-control (C2) platform that combines AI, data processing and multi-domain interoperability to support military decision-making across land, air, sea, cyber, space, the electromagnetic spectrum and information operations.
The platform is aimed at NATO members and allied nations and is designed for high-intensity operations involving command requirements for more than 100,000 personnel. Thales said HexaForce is already available and was tested for interoperability during NATO's Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXploration, eXperimentation, eXamination and eXercise, or CWIX, 2026.
Importantly, the CWIX testing demonstrates interoperability rather than indicating that NATO has procured or deployed the system.
