Tesla’s new “Accordion” Superchargers pack eight stalls into one delivery
Tesla has built a prefabricated Supercharger unit that ships pre-assembled with eight stalls and a 1.2MW power cabinet, cuts installation cost by 20% and can be unloaded with a forklift, with the first site live in Bavaria. A single unit exceeds the 1,050 kW that European rules will require from every pool on the core road network by the end of 2027.

The Accordion unit bundles eight stalls, a power cabinet and the cabling into one package. V4 dispensers and a V4 cabinet mean up to 500 kilowatts to a car, from a cabinet rated at 1.2 megawatts.
