Tesla Created a $225 Balance Bike for Tots, and It's Already Sold Out
Tesla has taken over electric vehicles, solar panels and robotaxis, and now it's targeting bikes for kids. The tech manufacturing giant has developed a $225 balance bike for toddlers with a five-way adjustable seat and no pedals or brakes, complete with the Tesla logo plastered on its frame.
The website says the bike is recommended for children between the ages of 2 and 5 (or 6, according to the manual), with a minimum leg length of 13.7 inches and a maximum weight limit of 77.1 pounds.
Although Elon Musk's company is known for its electric vehicles, the balance bike is motor-free and only powered by your littl'un's legs. As of Friday, it's already sold out (although it's unknown how many balance bikes were in stock to begin with). Tesla is also selling a matching balance bike T-shirt for $30.
