Team '26 Europe - Atlassian's AI strategy aims to get humans and agents working together

When Atlassian unveiled its Agentic Multiplayer Protocol (AMP) at Team 26 Europe in Amsterdam last week, a lot of attention focused on the right approach to human AI collaboration. On how getting the right mix of tools, governance and management applies as equally to AI agents as it does to humans. Speaking to diginomica, Jamil Villiani, Atlassian Head of Product, AI, expands on the theme:

I think our overall headline message here is about the AMP, and it's really a representation of a full set of things we're doing that cross governance, context and human-agent interaction patterns. Atlassian is taking a comprehensive look at how agents become truly a part of teams.
