T-Hub Opens Agri-Tech and Space-Tech Tracks, Offers Founders 100% Equity

T-Hub, a Hyderabad-based startup ecosystem organization, has launched Flashpoint, a venture studio that will help entrepreneurs build startups around industry-identified problems, beginning with agriculture technology (agri-tech) and space technology, as India's agricultural sector faces growing pressure to improve productivity, manage weather risks and adopt new technologies.

The Hyderabad-based startup ecosystem organisation has partnered with agri-tech company Kheyti and space infrastructure provider Dhruva Space for the first two tracks. Applications are open, and T-Hub said selected founders will retain 100% equity in their ventures while receiving industry mentorship, infrastructure access and support for their first fundraise.

The launch comes amid concerns about the impact of uneven monsoon rainfall on agricultural output and farm-input demand. India's weak rainfall conditions have prompted concerns over the upcoming rabi crop season, while agricultural companies have also reported that uncertainty over harvest outcomes is making the farmers cautious about spending on seeds, fertilisers and crop protection...
