Synology advances enterprise cyber-resiliency with ActiveProtect Manager 2.0
Synology today announced ActiveProtect Manager 2.0, the latest update to its ActiveProtect data protection appliances. The release expands backup and recovery capabilities across major IaaS platforms and virtualization environments, and introduces AI-powered threat detection for proactive cyber-resiliency.
“AI has turned cyber threats into a force enterprises can no longer outpace, driving organizations to seek data protection that is both dependable and accessible,” said Philip Wong, Chairman and CEO of Synology. Building on this momentum, Jia-Yu Liu, Executive Vice President of the Synology Data Protection Group, added that ActiveProtect Manager 2.0 “extends protection coverage to major clouds, hypervisors, and SaaS platforms, while introducing AI-driven threat detection that shifts data protection from reactive recovery to proactive defense.”
