Swish Raises $24 Million Led By Bertelsmann India To Expand Its Food Delivery Network
Swish, a vertically integrated food delivery platform, has raised $24 million in funding led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global.
The company said the new capital will be used to expand its kitchen network, strengthen supply chain infrastructure and increase capacity to meet growing consumer demand. Swish also plans to deepen its presence in existing markets and enter additional urban markets.
Swish operates a network of neighbourhood kitchens that prepare fresh food and delivers it in 10-minutes within an average radius of one kilometre. The company owns its kitchens, technology and last-mile delivery operations, allowing it to manage food preparation and delivery as an integrated system.
The company has expanded over the past six months across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi and Ghaziabad. Swish said its monthly orders have tripled since March and the platform now handles more than one million...
