Suno launches AI music models trained on licensed Warner and BMG catalogue
Suno has launched a new generation of AI music models built with Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe, and will switch off everything that came before them.
“As v6 rolls out, we will retire our previous models and move Suno entirely onto the v6 generation,” the company said.
The announcement, published on Wednesday, introduces three new models. There is v6, designed for more polished results, and v6-wild, which is meant to produce less predictable ones.
Both are available only to Pro and Premier subscribers, and the third, v6-mini, is available to everyone.
The new models support partial song editing, mashups using multiple sources, audio isolation, and sampling. Users can also create prompts using text, audio, images, or video.
