Steam Deck 2 Processor Revealed? AMD Gainsborough Codename Surfaces

Valve has been quick to downplay most rumors about a potential "Steam Deck 2." The firm says that a next-gen handheld is not coming until Valve's developers feel that there has been a true generational improvement in technology, so that the Steam Deck 2 offers a materially different experience from the first-gen unit. Well, the first-gen Steam Deck is based on a 6-7nm Zen 2 APU with RDNA 2 graphics; a 3nm Zen 6 APU would be a major uplift from that spec indeed.

I mention that because that's exactly what AMD's "Gainsborough" is thought to be. The processor has appeared in AMD's drivers, it's found in shipping logs, and according to serial leaker Tom with Moore's Law is Dead, none of AMD's partners have ever heard of it. So what is it?
