Star Fox 64 is getting yet another remake, this time for Nintendo Switch 2

- It launches on June 25, 2026, and will be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive
- It offers brand new visuals and a PvP multiplayer mode
Nintendo has revealed a new Star Fox game for Nintendo Switch 2 and, yes, it's yet another Star Fox 64 remake.
As confirmed in a surprise Nintendo Direct stream last night, the new game will simply be titled Star Fox and features enhanced visuals that have been rebuilt from the ground up, in addition to new character designs. Despite the fresh look, stage layouts will be the same as the original game.
In addition to the story campaign, Star Foxwill offer a challenge mode that introduces new objectives and challenges for players to tackle. There's also going to be a brand new battle mode, with two teams of four players facing off...
